The other way to test full cross-sectional, we shall offer probe rotating or Job rotating based test system. In Job rotating, there will be helical movement of job with static probe. In this test system, there will be 3-4 Immersion probes (or 6-8 probes) placed in the Immersion tank. 2 nos probe will be for Longitudinal oriented flaws clockwise and anti-clockwise directions & the balance 1-2 no probe will be used for the normal beam testing/lamination testing/Flat bottom hole detections. The probe rotating based test system will have rotation of probe & linear pass of the job.

Ultrasonic Test System for Laminations & Wall Thickness Monitoring in Strip/Coil used for fabrication of 'SPIRAL SAW' Pipe Mill or ERW Mill.
There are many unique features included in the system like 3mm FBH sensitivity setting, 115% coverage, test speed of up to 15 m/min with 2 mm distance from top & bottom surface for the Strip/Coil body as well as both Edges. The system will be suitable for detecting lamination and other manufacturing defects which are oriented parallel to the surface. It will meet the requirements of ASTM – SA 435, API, SA 578, API 5L, ISO 12094, ISO 10893-9, EN 10160, SHELL, TOTAL, DNV and similar international specification. The Wall thickness monitoring can also be incorporated with the resolution up to 0.001 mm & accuracy cab be of +/-0.1 mm. Automated ultrasonic inspection solution to L Saw Weld /Spiral Saw Pipe for Weld defects based on API or similar International standards. The probe carriage will have will have multiple probes shall be configured independently on various test configurations. Nos of probe pairs will be based on the customer Spec/requirements.
TEST CONFIGURATION : I - MODE, X – MODE, ON BEAD, TENDEM, HAZ, ETC
TEST Capability : N 5 – Notch of 25-50 mm length based on API standard on the Weld center & both side of weld at ID/OD location in Saw Pipe. In case of ERW Pipe Weld center & 4 mm both side of weld center at ID/OD location. Transverse flaws ID/OD location, Through Drill Hole of 1.6 mm at center & both side of weld (in case of ERW 4 mm of weld center), HAZ area 3-6 mm FBH, etc will be used at Calibration flaws for equipments standardization. TEST SYSTEM incorporated with the Laser camera based tracking system to track the Weld (in case of ERW – Pilot line) for auto probe positioning during dynamic testing. Also incorporated the Video camera for better visuallasion of weld location.
